Hypnotherapy is a very effective way that helping a person to make changes to their life at a deep subconscious (our inner) level. These changes can then influence behaviours positively at a conscious level.
During hypnosis, your body relaxes and your thoughts become more focused. Your conscious mind becomes less alert and your subconscious mind becomes more focused on the issue/problem you want to change.
Hypnotherapy is a two way process between the therapist and the client, and client cannot be hypnotised unless he or she agrees and co-operates. Also, all sessions are 100% confidential.

You're fully in control when under hypnosis and aware of what is being discussed. Also whilst hypnotised, nobody can make you do anything which you do not want to do.
How many treatments will I need?
Each session lasts about an hour, and most people start to see results within 1 - 5 sessions. You and your hypnotherapist will monitor and evaluate your progress over time. Children (aged 9 - 12) are easily hypnotized and may respond after only 1 - 2 visits.
As a fully listed member of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR (Reg)) and General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, I naturally adhere to their codes of conduct and ethics.
For the last few years I have expressed that passion by working as an Occupational Therapist. In that role I have assisted people in a wide and diverse range of situations, and gained valuable insight into the ways in which physical challenges can affect people’s day to day lives. It has been a pleasure and privilege for me to be able to use my skills and experience to help others improve their quality of life.
Whilst my primary focus has been on how best to assist people's physical challenges, as I have grown and developed, both personally and professionally, I have become increasingly aware of the impact that our psychological state has on our health and wellbeing. I realised that I wanted to
work in a more holistic way, because I always want to do the best that I possibly can for others.
After a lot of research into various psychological therapies, I discovered that hypnotherapy was one of the most effective. I learned through personal experience that this gentle therapy is in fact incredibly powerful. I was so impressed by how well it works, that I decided to train as a Hypnotherapist, so that I could incorporate everything I learned from it into my passion for helping others. It is an amazing tool for helping people understand and change their unwanted behaviour and bring about beneficial lasting change. It is also an amazing tool for dealing with physical issues. It can be used in so many ways. It is a truly holistic therapy in that it so naturally connects mind and body.
